Lampros is a multi-functional home services and products platform designed to connect homeowners with professionals, sellers, and realtors. It offers everything from instant service bookings and product ordering to property listings and inspiration sharing—all in a single app.
Stage 1. User Research & Needs Analysis
Kicked off the Lampros project by conducting in-depth user research across two core user groups:
Homeowners looking for services, home products, and property listings.
Affiliates (professionals, sellers, and realtors) offering their expertise and inventory.
Research methods included contextual inquiries, competitor benchmarking, and interviews with both groups.
Key insights uncovered:
Homeowners wanted a single platform to hire professionals, shop for home products, and find property listings.
Professionals needed an easy way to showcase work, manage leads, and track sales.
Both groups valued instant communication and transparent booking/order flows.
These findings highlighted opportunities to unify services, shopping, and property discovery in a single, intuitive app.
Stage 2. Design Strategy
Developed a design strategy focused on accommodating two different user journeys while maintaining a cohesive, clean interface:
For homeowners: Quick navigation, service booking in a few taps, and COD-enabled product ordering.
For affiliates: Simple posting tools, sales dashboards, and lead management.
Roadmap included:
Quick Wins: Intuitive home screen layout, simplified booking flows, familiar e-commerce patterns.
Long-Term Enhancements: Premium membership for homeowners, integrated loyalty rewards, and advanced analytics for affiliates.
Stage 3. Prototype Development
Wireframing:
Designed separate user flows for homeowners and affiliates to prevent feature overload.
Mapped interactions for instant service booking, product browsing, and property viewing.
High-Fidelity Prototypes:
Built in Figma with a modern, approachable visual style.
Focused on clear CTAs, visual hierarchy, and easy-to-scan layouts.
Integrated social-style features (like, comment, save, share) to boost engagement.
UI Design:
Selected a vibrant, trustworthy color palette to reflect professionalism and approachability.
Created consistent iconography and typography for brand recognition.
Designed micro-interactions for smooth user feedback and delight.





Outcomes
The Lampros design delivered a seamless experience for both homeowners and affiliates, simplifying bookings, product purchases, and property exploration. Clear navigation and intuitive flows boosted engagement, while the unified platform reinforced the value of user-focused design in connecting multiple audiences.
