Stage 1. User Research & Needs Analysis
Kicked off the Baskett project with in-depth user research, combining contextual inquiries, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to uncover key user needs. This process highlighted crucial improvement opportunities, including optimizing product discovery, streamlining the checkout process, and enhancing order tracking to create a faster, more intuitive shopping experience.
Stage 2. Design Strategy
Developed a design strategy focused on creating a seamless, user-friendly shopping experience by simplifying navigation, introducing personalized product recommendations, and refining the cart-to-checkout journey. Established a detailed design roadmap that segmented improvements into quick wins—such as search optimization and UI consistency—and long-term enhancements like smart order scheduling and integrated loyalty rewards.
Stage 3. Prototype Development
Wireframing: Designed the core app screens and user flows based on research insights, focusing on simplifying product discovery, streamlining the checkout process, and making order tracking more intuitive. Ensured the user journey minimized friction and supported faster decision-making.
High-Fidelity Prototyping: Used Figma to build detailed, interactive prototypes that showcased a clean, modern interface with improved navigation, personalized product cards, and clear checkout steps. These prototypes reflected the envisioned shopping experience and provided a realistic preview of the final app.
User Interface Design: Refined Baskett’s visual identity by introducing fresh, appetizing color palettes, clean typography, and simple iconography that conveyed trust and convenience. Every visual element was carefully crafted to create an inviting, engaging, and functional shopping environment.
